need help with cascade canister filter 1500

i was just wondering what was the best way to set up my 5 media trays in the cascade can. filter? should i have my microsponge on top? where should my carbon media be (on top or bottom)? If anyone could tell me what the internal workings or the flow of water through the filter I would appreciate it. thanks

Bottom tray, run the course sponge that came with the filter. next tray up should be the slightly finer sponge. Next 2 fill with bio-media. White floss in the top tray. Throw out the carbon.
