Hello, I noticed this morning that my FHs anal fin is shattered
The white membrane holding each branch of the fin is gone just around the tip of the anal fin.

(Photo of FH with his/her original anal fin (3-4days before this issue happened))

I am currently not treating the FH and letting his/her selfheal as I think it is just a damage that sadly happened somehow.

However, I wanted more expert members personal opinion about this damage whether it is a sign of disease or just a random cause that sadly happened.

If you have any recommended chemical/food/product to help his/her healing please leave it on the post with full name as I will most likely have to order it from eBay and will take me about 2-3weeks to receive as I live in NZ where there is nothing but sheeps and hobbits.

Thank you so much for your time :(

About the FH

Water is perfect and so his/her behavior.

I have been feeding dramatically fewer pellets after knowing I have been overfeeding the FH (15~20 pellet to only 5 pellets per feeding (3 times a day)) and recently started to use different brands for pellet as well (GS/Hikari to OceanFree XO starry/Humpy head).
I do see less pooping and different colour poop (same colour as food) after changing his/her diet but no sign of white strings.

I have got Bichir Senegal inside the same tank but that fin damage to me does not look like Bichir's bite and FH is more dominant inside the tank compared to my BIchir.

I do have a wave maker and It does have enough gaps for that fin to go, however, with the current, it is making I think it will be really slim for his/her fin to fit inside and get torn.

Birchir got her I'd bet. I've seen damage from plecos
Oh... **** I hope not :(
Thanks for the post about your personal experience narrows my conclusion.
I am currently recording the tank for 24 hr just to make sure it is actually my Bichir attacking it.
I am planning to get another tank 250g for a brand new Arowana if the price negotiation and importing goes well most likely will move the bichir there.

Additionally, nothing about this issue but is my FH female??
