i just got two frontosas and one of them seems to have a small piece of gravel stuck in its mouth what do i do?

You could try picking him up out of the water and "stripping" him similar to the way you strip a holding female cichlid. If you haven't done this before, there's some good videos on Youtube.

Disclaimer though: If he hasn't spit it out himself, it may be stuck and you may end up doing more harm than good.

agreed. are you sure it's gravel and not eggs? even though that front looks much to immature to breed yet, stranger things have happened.
