I was wanting to know if someone could help me with a light question. I need to know if you can put a 150 watt halide bulb in a coralife Aquapro 24" that is for a 250 watt halide. I know there is two fixtures one being 150 watt and the other 250 watt, but I can get a deal on the one thats 250 watt.
I think the 250 will be too much light for me I have a 36 gal bow front corner reef tank its around 36 inches deep 70lbs LR 40lbs LS its 1 year old with some button polyps, BTA, and 1 tomato clown... So with the 250 watt halide and 2 65w PC it would be 10.55 WPG which seems too high
for me but with the 150w halide it would be 7.77 WPG
which seem good.. Thanks for any help
