They sold it as a lobster and had cray fish in different tanks but i was also thinking the same. Thanks for the feedback i guess i wait and see. I def want a blue lobster or a redclaw gonna wait to get the right size
If you can get better shots of the areola (the spacing or lack of spacing, on the back of the carapace), the rostrum, the underside (if it's a male, the gonopods) and the claws (top/bottom) it'll be easier to ID.
The claws look off for it to be a Marbled Crayfish, but it's hard to say. What size is it currently? A lot of juvenile and sub-adults take on mottled patterns making them difficult to ID until they're adults. But if it's already an adult, that would narrow down the potential species.
