So this guy came into the LFS marked as a white eye moray - I lol'ed

So I am really wondering about this guy. He has the head shape of a larger moray eel. The only coloration patterns that seem to match him are between two.

He has the snake skin patter of the Gymnothorax javanicus and many other features such as the head. I think he might grow into more adult colors that match.

On the other hand I can see him being a Gymnothorax flavimarginatus because of his yellow eyes.

I really don't know on this one, he has such strong characteristics of both eels.CAM00134.jpgCAM00138.jpgCAM00140.jpgCAM00141.jpgCAM00143.jpg

Gymnothorax breedeni may be another possiblitiy... Hard to say with this guy, fairly plain colouration and a nondescript patterning on the body leaves a handful of eels...

Yah, I've found it's harder to ID alot of things in the aquatic world when they are younger, colours can change, shapes etc.
