Definately cincta. Great looking fish. What`s their sizes? Are they a compatible pair ? And dam it, if you don`t want them, I`ll definately take them. How much & where ? HTH.......Keith

go get them NOW!!!!!! looks like a breeding pair?

Not so fast my little chickadee, cincta` are not easily bred. Only 2 documented reports of them breeding in the world, if my memory serves me right. But most of us pike nuts know it`s only a matter of time before we have a breakthrough. I remember when it was virtually impossible to breed red bellied piranha, now it`s done with some degree of regularity. So we
can keep dreaming & trying. Good luck & make sure you keep a close eye on them because things can change so abruptly. HTH.......Keith

 Chickadee! hahaha! He speaks the truth man!! Lugubris group pikes are A PAIN to breed. Its only been accomplished with a few species, and thats been in very large tankz and very rarely. Finding the triggers to induce spawning and all that is a very difficult task to do. My xingu I pair would dig, do the mating dance, go through all the steps, but never once spawned. After wards the male would go psycho on the female and try to kill her for a few days. Cincta are one of the more aggressive pikes, so i would definately keep an eye on them...if you want to breed them, isolate them from other fish out of mercy for the other fish...haha.
