Got gipped in a trade and thought I was getting an Endli. On top of that, it’s missing an eye that looks fresh or infected.

I have the handbook and I’m thinking it’s a P. Bichir.

All I know right now is that my current Endli isn’t too happy or just establishing the hierarchy.
Endli is 13” and the other is 11”. DE2EE94E-1386-4C17-89BE-4D02FA3721A2.jpegBB153A6A-8ECD-4D4E-A263-2AD22502D526.jpeg

Looks like a Endlicheri to me.

That's not right for them not to tell you about the missing eye. I personally adopted 2 Nigerian Laps with eye defects and they are doing well.
Nice! Couldn’t really tell if it is Endli because of the markings and the size difference. I’m wondering if the lack of the other eye is throwing off it’s (lack of) color I think it’s actually to an advantage. The bigger one almost instantly went drab as soon as it hit the sand.

Yes you are correct about both having one eye and color of substrate.
