Need help with identifing these

Got these from a friend who got them from a friend and so on,
all i know is that they're cichlids of some sort
please help so i'll know if they will get along with my other fish

No.

If the tank is enormous, around 400+ gallons, then possibly. Once Dovii's reach maturity they demand a very large territory. This is a fish that gets 20"+ commonly and is one of he most agressive cichlids out there. Even then, once the Dovii (or Jag/Blackbelt) get big enough to eat the convicts and JD, they will.

Probably for awhile, but they'll eventually get big enough that they can and most likely will kill them all.

Yeah you'll need a pretty big tank for your dovii to get along with your jag.
That would be an epic battle if your dovii and convicts were breeding at the same time they'd probably end up killing eachother.

Not really, even though breeding convicts get crazy aggressive after laying down a clutch of eggs, a Dovii has so much of a size, weight, and teeth advantage that the convict would be killed in no time.

It would be senseless violence to attempt to house breeding Doviis with anything.
