Always nice to save a buck! I am on my way now to pick up a bulb from Lowes. I stopped buying bulbs from pet stores many years ago after I found better ones for much less at Lowes. Nice Thread!

Those shop lights with a built in reflector really make it easy to just set the lights on top of the glass. Theres a new one at Home depot that I'm going to check into. It's a dual bulb 48" fixture with reflector...built in cord and switch in a very compact...narrow housing for about $9.00 and change.

That is correct. It has two bulbs, 40 watts and 6500k each. The only downside is that there's no switch. But it's easy enough to unplug at night and plug back in in the morning.
