These fish grow big and are active swimmers, but these fish are also very flexible so tight space they can navigate quite well, mine used to live in a 90 gallon that was filled to the brim with branchy driftwood
Thank you for replying!
Will get some driftwood for them
What will you recommend as a good tank size for a adult as i think that 48x18x18 tank wouldn't be big enough for a adult specimen or is it?
At what size should i upgrade their tanks?
Biggger one in 48x18x18 and smaller in 42x12x12.
Thank you

This fish i kept nearly 15 years ago
I was new to channa, so I used to feed this one every day.

It was a prolific eater, so
Ghost Shrimp
Hikari floating pellets
Super worms
Meal worms
Dried ghost Shrimp
Was fed

Aurantimaculata would do better with little to no current in the water, a bit of nitrates in the water is acceptable.

They like driftwood and sand for decor, as they dig and rest in the midst of driftwood.
Should i also feed them everyday? And how much should i feed them? I feed them till their is a little bulge in their bellies as they were little too skinny when i got them.
What pellet food will you recommend for them?
