Need help with my 6'' juru

Hey guys, recently I purchased a juru.
Its been about a week and has not eaten anything.
Tried from feeders to pellets and mp.
Previous owner fed it feeder.

Any idea on what should I do?
Geeting worried for the small fella

How big are the feeders? I find it hard to believe that a hungry catfish would pass up anthing live that would fit in its mouth. I've seen my 4 inch Juruense cat eat 15 small guppies.

I guess it's possible that your fish is still adjusting to its new home. I assume that your water params are good and that your tank has decent water movement as these fish come from fast moving rivers.

For a healthy fish, 1-2 weeks is normal adjustment time. Should take appropriate live feeders by then if your water is good for it. But I would use this fasting time wisely and not offer it any feeders - wean it over onto dead foods. If does not eat after a month, then try feeders just to give the fish a break.
