I notice that his 'hands' and arms turn black/brown at times.
It goes back to the normal white after a little while though.
He also has some odd bumps that formed on his head, I had no idea what it was and could find no info or post pictures of it before, so I treated for parasites and he seemed to get better.
He still has a few of these bumps and I will try to get pictures.
He has deformities, so I know he may not be a normal healthy frog to start with.
I will post a few pictures ASAP, he is hiding at the moment, I can lure him out with food.

Youll endup with ALLOT of eggs and then young frogs to wich is hard to find good homes. These guys have become established as invaders in several us states and are carriers of deadly (to other amphibs that is) cytric fungus. This aint a good species to bred for now. I think fire bellied newts need way more help and can be just as fun to bred
