Need help with my atabapo 1 pikes.

I recently bought to of these, 1 is 4-5 inches and the other is 5-6 inches. The larger one has been attacking the smaller one, couldn't figure out why so I vented them... 2 females. What can I do? I'm scared 1 will kill the other, anyone willing to trade 1 F1 female for a F1 male? Any help appreciated!

Lots of hiding places. From what I understand with Pikes, its out of sight out of mind. What size tank are they in? Can you separate? IF you can't try as many caves as you can. PVC pipes work well. If you need a male post in the classified section. You never know what someone has.

Thanks for the tip, they are still small so they are in a 75 gallon high tech planted tank. Only other fish are some flying foxes and various synodontis species.

These fish have some many caves and hiding holes I couldn't count them all. The bigger female goes out of her way to track down and beat up the smaller one.. no way to separate them, going to be building a 8x4x4 plywood tank

Only separation or adding more pikes will reduce the aggression.

Unfortunately the one died, I removed her and she broke out with multiple pathogens and died within 2 days
