Need help with my crab...maybe

So I have two blue legged hermit crabs. I know nothing about them - they kind of just fell in my lap so I need help with them.

Do I have to feed them anything in particular or do they just eat the **** off the bottom?

This might be a stupid question....do I have to get them a bigger shell at some point or do they not get that big?

they eat algae and detritus but the puffer will probably kill them there is also a salt invert sub forum so check it out.
