I’m not sure what’s the matter with her. she’s very fat. I’m hoping she’s for of eggs. She is still eating and swimming fine.
the male I have in there with her is being very mean to her and keeps chasing her back into hiding.
How many times a week do you feed her?
Sometimes even bonded pairs need to be separated ,keep an eye out for fighting.
Didn't your last female andrao also pass away from bloat? Is this a new one?

Yes this is a new one. She’s not acting the same as my last female when she had bloat. I feed then about every other day and not a lot.
She was mating with another male but started mating with this male. So I took the other male out of the tank. Should I swap the males back out?
The male is definitely very mean to the female. I could put a divider in there for a while.
I only have 2 males and one female. I would like to get them to breed. They do the dance and I’ve seen eggs. The pair will go around and collect the eggs but I never get any fry.
Feeding every other day is not neccasary just feed a few times a week. I have no experience breeding these so i can't speak for that but of she's gettting really beat up i would get a divider.
