Im guessing its a gas/air build up in the tail area of the fish. the last 1/3 of the fish is always sticking ut of the water and he swims at an angle cause of it. He will sometimes pull his body to a normal position and you will actually see the tail rise like a fishing bobber would dart to the surface if you let it go from under the water. I have a pick here to show the angle of him swimming. Im pretty sure its some kind of air build up but really what can I do. otherwise seems perfectly healthy

it looks like the swim bladder problem
google it and you might find a cure for it
and do keep us updated

i think bderick's were like this for a long time, but they eventually straightened out (2 of them)

I think swim bladder too. i just did a water change and added some more salt. The fish is less than a week old to me so hopefully it works out. I read about peas. Might try that tomorrow!

This is a common problem i see with recent arowana imports. The pressurization from the flight sometimes doesn't equal out and the fish ends up swimming at a funny angle just like that.

What you'll need to do it put it in a hospital tank so the water level is the same as the height of the fish, this way the fish is forced to level out and allows it to get rest it needs to heal itself (no swimming just sits there). After a week to a couple weeks it should return to normal... Keep the water clean and in some bad cases antibacterial meds are used.

Sorry, no help here. Only one of mne was deformed and had a hunched back from being kept in too small of a tank. Wish I could help, but have no experience with this disorder.

well, it was definitely someone else whose name started with a b. maybe bigspizz (where is he btw?)
