I've noticed my turtle has lost its appetite and is now showing a swelling in his neck. Any ideas on the problem and what I can do to help it?
I've had it since it was and inch and its now 5" diameter. I've been feeding it reptomin, repto treats, and freeze dried shrimp. Its currently in a 20g long with no filtration. I change 100% water every 3-4 days.

were do you want me to start? Your turtle is lucky to be as other wise healty as she seems to be
You have a too small aquarim for her, a too low water level for her, you shouldnt be keeping her outside like that, you need a filter, a water heater, a ligthing sistem and your giving her a incomplete diet. You need a much bigger tank for that softy wich by the way is chinese softshell turtle Pelodiscus sinensis. For this guys at least a meter long tank is a must. A good water level would be about 25 cm. Youll need a powerfull filter as this guys both produce allot of waste but at the same time are sensitive to that waste. Also a heater is a absolute must as well as indoor housing for most of the year, this turtles are TROPICAL they dont take temps bellow 20c very well as well it compromises their imune sistem. 26-28 Celcious are ideal. You will need a uv ligth as well. Lets keep on the diet the reptomin to wich you can ad mealworms, crickets, grasshopers, snails and earthworms. You can ad very small quantitys of grounded meat or fish fillets. You turtle problem is likely of being cold. Do this alterations and thenn we will see
