I just sprank a leak in my tank and had to move all of them to a 55 gallon tank need to know if they will be ok with just a half cycled tank. Old filter shorted out so had to go to back up please let me know if everything will be ok or what should I do

Sounds like you're doing the best with what you've got. There isn't much to do except keep up on water changes, like 20% everyday depending on how stocked that 55g really is, and replace or repair the damaged tank asap! Also, throw an airstone in the 55g in case of another filter failure. Having to add the entire stock of a larger tank to a half-cycled tank pretty much means your ammonia will be spiking, so just keep up on daily water changes until it's all resolved.

how many fish are we dealing with and what are they?

do u have any friends with tanks that can baby sit them while u get ur tank repaired/bought.

what filters are u currently running on the 55 gallon?

i would keep the water cool to help slow their metabolism; reducing the amount of waste produced. i would also buy a bottle of Seachem stability to help the tank stay stable.

keep up with the water changes as well, monitor ur parameters often.

x2. But don't drop the temp more than two degrees per day, and probably not below 76ºF.

7 in albino oscar
5 2in oscars- 2 albinos, 2 red tiger and 1 black veiled
2 6in gold fish
1 8 in dragon goby

1 emperior 400 and 1 8 in round air stone with a 5000 air ratio pumping in the tank

Those are good sized Oscars for your temporary tank. Cut down on your feedings drastically!
