Need help with plants

In my 40g I’ve had this live plant but I don’t know what it is and pretty sure the store had it mislabeled as a Java. Anyway I’ve had it for a while now and today doing some tank maintenance I decided to pluck off all the newly developed plants and now have a container of like 7 plants and don’t know what to do with them or even what they are

It is Java Fern, Microsorum pteropus. The other question, I don't quite understand it. One can leave them floating, tie them to rocks or wood or something else, give them to somebody, or throw them away.

Some grow long and tall, some grow short and bushy. Usually plantlets can grow from the rhizom or even from spores on the leaves or even creases or splits on the leaves. Break them off and fasten them to wood and hey presto, another plant on its way.

Agree, Java Fern,

I could never keep enough, and had them growing in about 20 tanks.
I liked to attach them to sunken pieces of wood, in tanks where cichlids would uproot others plant species.

Extra plantlets, can be taken to local aquarium club auctions.
Where I lived in WI , bags of these plants were considerably worth, and often went for much higher prices than most fish.
