need help with pump for 600g

i was thinking of picking up a 600g 96x48x30 and was wondering what size/kind of pump or pumps should i run let me know any help would help thx the sump is gonna be 150g in thinking
 
Sump should be 1/3 of tank size and have a turn over rate of at least 3 to 4 times per hour

LOL Never heard of this kind of pump :screwy:

Something that big I would go with a Reeflo Hammerhead. They are very economical high flow low wattage pumps.
 
You might want to consider two pumps, if one fails at least you still have water flow.
 
I have the same size tank,and have been very happy running two Pondmaster Hydrive 4000's,although will be upgrading to at least one Pondmaster 4800.The jump in pump size only adds 20 watts,but gives substantial flow increase.

BTW...both these pumps are ran out of a 100gal. Rubbermaid sump that is attached to a bio-reactor.
