what is the coldest temp live rock can withstand without dying and if it does, can it be rejuvenated?

Temperate water tanks have live rock as well.
So the real question is what temp range are you going for? Find live rock cultured around that temp.

i put some live rock in my aqarium and im wondering if i did it too soon because the water was pretty cold. even though it warmed up pretty quickly,im wondering if i messed it up by putting i in prematurely. the lfs told me the normal temp should be 76- 80 which it is, but im worried that i messed up by putting it in too soon. to be honest i didnt know the rock could stand to be out of water very long. so stupidity is my excuse

More likely to damage it with freshly mixed saltwater....You're always going to get some die-off with live rock
