I currently have 2 tanks I need stocking questions with first my 125:
I currently have in it a small fire eel, several angels, a bala shark, a BKG, some panda cories, a couple clown loaches, a tiger barb or two (trying to remove them), and a handful of smaller "other" fish that I've lost track of, not sure how they got in there in the first place but are in there.
I would like to have some cardinal tetras (maybe 25-30 for a small school), other than that I'm open to suggestions, would rather not have cichlids in it, jut not wanting it to turn into that kind of a tank. I would like to do another fire eel or two around the same size of my current one but not sure if that would cause problems once they got bigger. I've thought about a ST dat that would be a neat addition but again dont want aggression problems later on, I know the cardinal tetras may be a problem but again things can change.
As for the 38, I've bounce several ideas around including doing a planted cardinal tank, but then don't want to deal with the higher cost of the light fixture. I'm open to pretty much anything in this tank now, I have several plants growing out of the top of it now (vine type plants, some bamboo, and a couple of mangroves, so possibly something that would have fry in the roots of those would be interesting to have.
