need help with tank cover!!

Anyways, like I have mentioned before I am planning and designing a 90 gallon tank over this summer for my future pirahnas that I'm going to buy when I finally move into my new place. I bought this tank with a stand for 260, it is in good shape but the guy previously used it for turtles, so all it has is a mesh top. I need to either buy a canopy so I can set up a lighting system or build one. I'm looking for advice on good links to buy or build or if anyone has experience with building one themselves I could use some help. I will put up a picture of it in a couple of weeks when I go back home to see my tank. I also am a little curious if I had bout a reptile tank, I'm pretty sure it is not but I need to look at it again, "hopefully I didn't make that stupid mistake". make plexiglass tops, buy the handles and hinges at ur lfs.

measure lip to 1/2 inch from filter
measure side to brace
after making cuts, cut both
pieces of plexi glass at 6 inches inward, cut horizontally of course
put ur hinge on the 6 inch cut along with the other piece
then put ur handles on,

u just made plexiglass lid

thanks for the advice unbeatablec, I'm pretty sure it is a appropriate aquarium I get to see it next week when I go home for good and specify. I will be really angry if I got jipped into buying a reptile tank. I am new to the hobby
