Need help with the audio on my Computer

For some reason my speakers arent working. They dont show up in my control panel, it says no device detected. Somehow they got uninstalled and currently no speakers are installed on my PC. Now I am having trouble getting them to work.


Anyone know what I should do?

its an EMachines with with windows XP.

go to control panel > Sounds and Audio devices > audio menu

make sure you have the right speakers selected for sound playback
