need help with treating white spot on my peacock bass.

hi,i have a 600 litre tank with a canister filter,a couple of peacock bass and a couple of paroon sharks there all about 2-3 inch babies,there showing signs of white spot,ive started useing
an ich treatment,but that appears to be killing one of my sharks,but im going to have to persist with the treatment to save the bass,anybody else got any tips on treating the fish?

get that temp to 87
add lots of airation
add aquarium salt.
gravel vac the hekk outta the bottom.
bare bottom tanks are best for juvies for this reason.

i would not use meds at all. Put the water up to 87 ish like he said and then just add the amount of salt it says it add. (i beleive its 1 tbsp per 5 gallons). Ich will be gone in no time. Keep doing this for about 2 weeks.
