Need help with Water lettuece

I need to know how fast will it grow and how does it reproduces
And any other useful info

It reproduces by "runners" off the mother plant. I've had mixed luck with them indoors. They don't do well in tanks with lids and little air flow. They also don't like their leaves wet.

My problem like it will deplete oxygen and kill all my fishes when electricity is out

I have only had parcial success indoors, and only when keepin the water level low, so there is quite a bit of space between the leaves and the lid. Outdoors they grow unstoppably in warm climates. After all, it is highly invasive.
