Hey guys
Hope you all are doing fine
I had water lettuce in my cichlid tank I saw them destroying it so I removed it and shifted out with ther common plants
Now I see it's leaves rotting what should I do to stop it from rotting?

Would personally snip off just the two rotting leaves on each plant and put in a water container on a windowsill or in sunlight . I would add some plant food to the water till the roots get growing again and more leaves start to grow. Then you need to decide what to use it for. Sometimes it will start to rot if in a tank with water up near a glass cover as it has fine hairs and does not like too moist conditions or water dripping on it. Usually though if roots are strong it will even put up with these damp moist conditions like in a tank.

In addition to what Fishman Dave said, water lettuce is pretty much a seasonal plant. No matter how stable and consistent my tank parameters are, it will always thrive in the spring and summer, then die in the winter....

U people are always available
Thank u guys
