Need help with wound

What size tank is he in? I've never kept GATF, but I've read many posts from members who have. The consensus seems to be that a very large tank is required to keep them from hurting themselves. Aside from that, you will need to keep the tank dark for a while to keep the stress low. Keep the heat up and add some aquarium salt. Meds should be a last resort.
 
It will be fine. Mine injured himself very badly at one point and was not eating for a few days because of the extent of the injury. He healed enough in 3-4 days to begin eating again and the injury was completely healed in 7-10 days approx.

As a matter a fact, he has not eaten since I got him:(
