need help!

This morning I go to check on my Festaes like I do every morning and I notice that my female has a growth right above her upper lip. Looks like a pimple. Check the water temp. and parameters and everything is good. She is still eating and her agression level is the same. Last night that f*****g growth wasn't there. Where did it come from I do water changes every four days.

Had that on my jag. No worries it goes away. Mine was just an abrasion sore in which yours probably is. Mine was chewing on an eggcrate divider soo it kinda made his lip all funky. Took about a week to go away.

could be from running into the glass, rubbing against decor, or liplocking. It will go away with time.

My midas had something like that, it went away after a few weeks. Nothing like water changes and it never hurts to throw melafix in your tank IMO.

Thanks brothers, considering that everybody responded pretty much the same, I'm a little bit more relax now. I was thinking that it was some kind of parasite cuz their wild caught.

I just check on her and it looks like is starting to loosen, almost like you could pick at it.
