Need help

I have a silver aro, and some polypterus, and today I found my aro sulking in the bottom of the tank, I had some plants in there I took them out and some of the bottom parts were rotten, so I did a 25% water change And my aro looks better but do you have any more sugestion on what I can do to get everything back to normal, thanks for any help

I would say dont over feed and do more gravel vacs...
