...hey fellas, I havent been on here ina while, but I really need some help. I have a 5 year old managuense thats acting weird. She's stopped feeding and is lathargic. My sister 'babysat' my fish for a couple months and never cleaned the tank. the water was orange. When I got her back a week ago, she instantly perked up having clean water in her tank, but she still doesnt eat and clings to the bottom of the tank. I've noticed a bulge in her gut and figured shes obstructed or possibly egg-bound. Knowing she hadnt layed eggs, I had mixed salt into water at first and left her in it for about 3 days at the ratio of 1 teaspoon salt to 10 gallons of water, is this the right mixture? She still hasnt pooped and I've noticed the ovipositer poking out a little. I did a 60% water change last night and I dont know what else to do. I dont want to lose this fish, any help is greatly appreciated.
