OK i have a coral beauty with one cloudy eye, fins look ok just noticed her hangin by the top of the tank. What do you guys think i can use to treat for this I have Melafix. I also noticed sometimes she and all the other fish are rubbing themselves on the liverock or the sand not all the time a few time a day. Water params are as follows

Nitrate- 0 ppm

Nitrite- 0 ppm

Ph - 8.2

Ammonia - 0 ppm

Temp 77.1 deg

Salinity 1.025

In a lot of cases, cloudy eyes will clear on their own, providing good water params are kept. Regarding the scratching, all you can do is keep an eye out with it...specially for Ich.

sounds like ICH to me too. I agree the cloudy eyes is caused but poor water quality. Had the same eye problem with my groupers.

Whats the outcome of your problem since it has been a few months. lol.
