Ok, so here's the deal..
About a month ago I started noticing my 2 peacock bass starting to get a pale whitish color.. then their fins started to get white along the edges and then they started to rip.. their eyes had a hazy coat on it, and they eventually would not eat anything.. so at first I thought it was internal parasites so I started treating with maracyn. Unfortunately, one died the first day of treatment and the other on the second day of treatment.
Now I have two brazilliensis in my tank along with two bristlenose plecos and 1 green severum.
The brazil. seem to have the beginning of the same thing.. their fins are starting to rip and get the white along the edges.. what could be the cause of this?? just started noticing it yesterday.. the only thing that puzzles me is that they were inside the tank when i ran the treatment the first time.
My water conditions are as follows:
Ammonia: 0 ppm
PH: 7.8
Nitrate: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Temp: 82
I do a water change once every 3-4 days.
