My firemouth and cichlasoma both have this weird mouth thing, their mouths are red and don't close, i don't think it is caused by fighting because its been a couple of days and they are a little worse. Can you help me?
i just lost my male oblongum do to flesh eating disease, could this be it, no one else has it besides these two and they all eat well and no one is new in that tank. but i did remove the oblongum yesterday when i saw it and he died in my hospital tank last night
. This stuff just showed up overnight.
Tank is a 125g, and the parameters are perfect, i do water changes twice a week, filtration is a sump.
parameter are:
nitrites-0
ammonia-0
nitrates- undetectable
hardness- 10
chlorine-0
Ph- 8.3
