Need Help

I need some help identifying this Piranha.

i've never been good with identifying piranhas...seem to be alright with adults. I need to spend a lil time pickin someone's brain on what they're lookin for to identifye.

I dont think its a rhom at all, at that size the eye should be more red.
My first guess would be compressus complex form, meaning its in a group that hasnt yet been identified completly.
I'm not saying sanchezi because I believe that there would be more red in the throat at that size

it does have a red belly...these pics were taken when it was half a sleep

Possibly a sanchezi then but the scutes look uniform so I still say copressus

i will get an updated pic with his color tomorrow...i did google the sanchezi and it does look like one of them alot...might be a good call on your part....thanks for the help and again i will have updated pics tomorrow.

Try and get a good upclose flank shot so I can see the belly scutes a lil more clearly.
A better look at the spotting would help also so yeah a flank shot would be ideal.

Or better yet, try and get a good look at them, if they are neat and all going the same way then its a comp but if they are jaged and not uniform then its a sanchezi
