As you know I have managed to get everything into my home now, everyone is fine etc but my blood python is like really dry, his skins like wrinkley almost, nothing has changed, just moved his viv into the loft. Is this due to stress maybe or close to shedding?

Try soaking him in some shallow room temp water. it sounds like it is dehydrated so you are going to want to make sure it is drinking lots.

Think he would be able to swim in the bathtub? He always has water, i never leave any of them without water

so long as you keep a close eye on him it should be fine. Just don't let him escape.
