Recently My ZZRD has bumped his head on the glass top of the tank.He did this after a standard weekly water change. Now he has convulsions/twitches when he tries to eat. His food, that he has taken and enjoyed daily is no longer staying in. He grabs it he twitches and the spits it out. It is a combination of XO humpy head, trout feed, and tetra color bits all ground togeather and then I make balls out of it.

So i started treating him for parasites(hole in head, anchor worm, flukes) last night. I have had him for two weeks and he is in a 90 gallon by himself and the water test are normal for this area.

I have be keeping SA cichlids and flowerhorns for nearly 30 year and I have never had a sick fish.

please adviese what I should do I would hate to loose him. He the one in my avatar and he is only 3".

The tank temp is 85, I have added salt. His color is slightly fade, but the one that is really of is the lack of appetite and now he is afraid of movement in the room.
