Ok I recently bought a female and male ram cichlids for my 36bow to go in with a ctenapoma and knight goby (knight goby will prb leave soon, looks like he has fin rot). But the thing is the female ram keeps chasing and biting the male, also the male look like his stomach is abit sunken. But the ctenaopma and femal ram are doing great. Also i just figured out i have hard water :wall: after keeping fish for like 5 years. So I going to be lowing that over the next few weeks.

What should I do? I don't have a QT tank......

I would first make sure you have lots of hiding spaces and broken lines of sight so the bullied ram can get comfortable. Then see if he is eating. If he is what color is his poop. White stringy indicates parasites. The alternative is to medicate your tank now and treat all fish. I've used General Cure by API but I know there are others out there.

Good luck

Thanks, also I just got done medicating the fish a month before i got these guys in, I don;t wanna strees them out again.
