Hello, I'm relatively new to fish keeping and I bought a mangrove jack - An Australian native fish. The first day i got him he was fine, but still not 100% he swam around and ate. Day 2 he started breathing heavily and sitting at the bottom of the tank, he had no visible signs of ich/velvet or anything so i treated him with some multi-cure just to make sure. The next day he his eyes started to swell a little and start to go a greyish colour, so i salted the water and tried giving him a salt bath in another smaller tank. When i moved him back from his salt bath he some how jumped out of the net onto the ground i panicked and got him back into his 6ft tank.
Now 2 days later he's still at the bottom of the tank his breathing is normal his eyes are back to normal but he still looks stressed from the fall and hasn't eaten at all, safe to say he's had a pretty rough week and probably hates me.
I just need some advice on what to do now? I have no clue on how to make him get back to normal.
