NEED HELP!!

heya guys got home from work today and noticed a marking on my boys Tail/fin, anyone have any idea what this is? checking water straight after posting hes in a 150gal/fx5/1500xlcanister/28C/Weekly 30%WC/diet = foodstix

Sorry for phone pics dont own a camera, and thanx in advance for any advice/help

Maybe I'm missing something here? I don't see anything concerning in the photos you posted matey? If the mark your trying to describe is that light line which I can't tell if it's a dried water mark on the outside of the glass or the mark your talking about?? If that mark is on the fish, I'd have to agree with Steve, the line appears to be pretty straight and uniform... I'd say burn mark form the heater... No huge worry, but look into relocating that heater, I'm guessing he got burnt sleeping to close to it. So try moving things around a bit and put some cover on the opposite side of the tank to the heater, the fish will normally sleep around cover. Also add a lil salt to help heal that burn up!

hmmmmm ok thx guys guna go with a heater burn... but very weird how he coulda done it the way my heater is set up in there. Ohwell will be doing extra water changes this week to make sure he comes good.
