My arowana tank was cycling I tested the nitrites and they were back to blue which means the tank is cycled from what I've been told. With the cycle does the ammonia go up? My ammonia is neon blue the highest it can be and dosent make sense it's only one fish in the tank ph is around 6.8 what should I do

Yep. I would be doing the same, daily water changes until cycled and add fast growing floating plants and make sure they receive proper lighting

If you have ammonia but no nitrites it suggests that you are not using enough bio media. What is your filtration setup?
