I have an issue going on in my severum tank, ph 6.9, ammonia, 0.1, Nitrite 0.1, Nitrate 4, temp, 83.2, in case of ick....25 to 50 percent water change weekly, tank has been established for over a year. So here goes, noticed cloudy eyes and lethargic fish, treated with API, erythromycin and API general cure. 12 hours later I have lost 2 fish, cloudy eyes are worse now, fish look like they have fin and tail rot, all look like let’s say, if you or I had a sunburn and were now pealing, like a crazy fungus that came on very fast. Just to be clear, the temp has always been the same and these severums have grown from babies to 7 inch adults up to this point. 100 gallon custom , Fx6, cleaned, 7 banded severums, now 5.
