Hey guys. I realize this isn't a fish but since there's a sub-forum for reptile keepers, I'm hoping it's okay for me to post this. I'm pretty desperate at this point.
Some friends of my father's work closely with shelters and the like, so when a large red-eared slider was being abandoned in a 10gal tank I offered to take him since I had a 20gal, which is still not nearly big enough but I figured it was better than what he had. Well, here we are months down the road and I still can't find a home for this guy! I need to rehome him asap so I can take home the 60gal tank from work since they no longer want to deal with it, and it's going right where his tank is sitting right now.
He really needs to go to someone who can provide him with the space and knowledgeable care he needs, his shell is about 7-8 inches long though I'm not very good at measurements. Point is, he's big! Would any of you be interested or otherwise know a reptile-enthusiast who might be willing to take him?
