can you get a picture away from the plants please? The plants is making him look more green than he is, but they are probably blue scrapers or Astatoreochromis alluaudi

Not in any way, sorry Sp 44's when stressed are still very black, this fish is more green and zebra obliquedens when stressed turn a pale yellow

they are tough to photograph, the females won't leave the plants and the male won't hold still. But he has dark face markings, a bit of a red stripe behind his head, black pelvic fins and a black chest area, and a very intricate red and black dorsal fin

Edit: he also has about 2 or 3 yellow egg spots.

thanks for all the help, i'm starting to think it an astatotilapia aenocolour though, beased on the male. is not as bright a shade of yellow, has a much darker dorsal fin, and a little bit of red behind his head. The male is only 2 inches so he's not exactly mature by any means

Okay that's probably it then. I gave you the site because I can't tell clearly from the picture above so I figured if you had the list of fish and could sit there and look back and forth from fish to list you would get it. :P good luck!
