Bottom one looks like a badly beaten Paratheraps of some sort.

Look like hybrids of some sort to me. Not all flowerhorns (a much over used term anyway) look like the high class ones that go for a million bucks. Kinda like not all women look like anne hathaway.

Top pic looks like a flier cichlid (Archocentrus centrarchus).

The top fish isn't Archocentrus centrarchus, body shape and striping is off, and it lacks the black spot on the gill plate. I'd say it's a very bland rainbow cichlid, Herotilapia multispinosa.

Hmm. I don't think the bottom one is beat up, I believe it's going through a color change. That could make it a Paratheraps fenestratus "pink", or some low quality hybrid with Amp. and vieja blood.

Posting up a couple more photos would help, it can be tough to ID just off one shot.

I looked and thought Multispinosa and pink fenestrada, so I agree with Mod Man. Ken
