Need ID help... no pics though

I don't know if I'm in the right forum but...I was just at one of my LFS and they had a fish that was in a tank with assorted peacocks. I asked to see what it was called and they said something bout a half blackslick cichlid. It looked like a peacock bass or a largemouth bass. The guy said it was a meat eating african cichlid. Does anyone own these and have any pics or info about them? I'm interested in getting this guy.

I am not sure because I am not him but I am assuming that was saying that they looked like large mouth bass or Peacock bass ? maybe ?

Right on Cakilla. Thanks anyways guys...I kind of figured what it was. It was a Golden Duck Cichlid.
