Don't know what it is but it's defiantly not a red texas. If I had to guess I would say trimac vieja hybrid if that's even a thing. That's what it looks like

What did it come in as? Vieja dominant, syn or black belt. But no way to tell for sure

My lfs got him from someone that claimed them to be red Texas but it didn't look like it was a RT to me so I figured I'd get some better opinions. Doesn't really matter it's my daughters fish I'm not looking to breed or anything was just curious how big he might get
