+1. these guys are cool. I know they are served as food in a lot of places. they get a nice size pretty sure around the 2 foot mark

I agree with the genus but tend to think this one is a dinema - click through the pics of both bearing in mind that dinema's pectoral fins, head and snout are longer than in truncatus and decide for yourself: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/genus.php?genus_id=147
