Need ID

[Mad About Cichlids]

Bought these last summer as some kind of shark and after doing some research I was thinking they might be Leptobarbus hoevenii but am not too sure now. They have only grown about an inch since I got them and hoeveniis supposed to get close to 20" or so when full grown. Right now they're about 4-5".

yep hooeveni .... aka cigar barbs : ) they grow pretty fast .... ive owned a 13" before... and see 18" around.... : )

These guys are growing super slow but guess it's a good thing, not sure what I would do with 5x20" schooling fishes yet.

yes those are cigar sharks, Leptobarbus, I have one in with tinfoils, balas, big type silver dollars-black banded silver dollars and it is growing FAST
